Paneer Akuri is the authentic Parsi recipe which is so delicious & is remarkably famous among the foodies. Prepared with paneer, onions, bell peppers, coriander leaves and garlic, the main dish recipe could be enjoyed for dinner as well as for lunch. You could serve the vegetarian dish with chapatti or bread to make it in a wholesome dish. Occasions such as potlucks, kitty parties, picnics & game nights are perfect to savor the simple recipe & would definitely impress everyone with the lip-smacking taste.
Ingredients for Paneer Akuri:
Green pepper (Capsicum) - 1/2
Onion - one
Green chili - 1/2
Salt as per requirement
Red bell pepper - 1/2
Garlic - 4 cloves
Paneer - 200 gm
Refined oil - one tbsp
Cumin seeds - two tsp
Black pepper as per the requirement
Yellow bell pepper - 1/2
For Garnishing:
Coriander leaves - two sprigs
How to prepare Paneer Akuri:
Step 1) To make the main dish recipe, on the chopping board, properly slice the onions, green capsicum, red & yellow bell pepper, green chilies & mince the garlic cloves. When done, heat the refined oil in a pan on a moderate flame.
Step 2) As the oil is sufficiently hot, have cumin seeds, garlic and sliced green chilies into it. Saute it till the mix becomes aromatic. Now, have the properly sliced onions alongside sliced bell peppers & cook till they get tendered.
Step 3) Next, crumble the paneer & add it into the veggie mix in the vessel. Mix it properly. Sprinkle the black pepper powder and salt as per taste on this & combine properly. Cook it till the oil separates into the vessel. When done, turn off the flame & transfer it into the bowl. Garnish with coriander sprigs & have it hot for enjoying!
